Claude x Notion MCP Workshop Recap
Last week we teamed up with the Claude Builder Club here at UMD for an evening all about Model Context Protocol and what it means for the way we use AI day to day.
If you've never heard of MCP, here's the simple version: it's what allows Claude to actually work inside your other apps, not just talk about them. Instead of copying information out of Notion, asking Claude a question, and pasting the answer back, MCP lets Claude read your pages, update your databases, and create content directly in your workspace.

The workshop kicked off with a live demo of Claude connected to Notion in real time, which honestly made it click for a lot of people in the room. From there, attendees took some time to build their own integrations, and some even got to present their builds to everyone during Show and Tell for free Claude swag!
